"Redox" Acupuncture Items
The products of open JSC "Redox" for needle reflex therapy is currently presented by three types of disposable information-active acupuncture needles:
  
- Disposable sterile information-active acupuncture needles of 6 types;
- Sets of acupuncture micro-needles;
- Individual sets of silver-plated acupuncture needles.
The advantages of Redox disposable information-active acupuncture needles are:
- High-quality processing;
- Appropriate sharpening angle;
- No soldering and its harmful by-products involved in manufacture;
- Sure protection against AIDS and hepatitis.
The needles are made of high-grade stainless steel and diamond-processed. No burrs on the needle handle, which protects the acupuncturist against cuts.
When applied but once, redox needles have the same electro-chemical parameters as similar gold or platinum needles.
Disposable redox needles cannot be used again because both the acupuncturist and the patient could run a higher risk of contracting AIDS or hepatitis; and because the treatment becomes less effective, for the needle gets contaminated with products of organic and non-organic reduction-oxidation reactions occurring on the needle during the therapy session, and it is impossible to get the needle ready for another one in a medical institution.
Moreover, the detergents, electric power and human effort required to sterilize a needle together cost more than a new one.
