DR. REDOX’S EDUCATIONAL QUIZ PROMOTING GOOD HABITS APPLIES AN NLP METHOD OF REFUSING THE FIRST FIX
Target group: high school students; Classes lasting for 45 min. are conducted by the students themselves; The work of certified Dr. Redox scholars (a group of two or three) costs from 150 to 1000 RUR per hour, depending on the audience.
Main objectives:
1. To make good habits fashionable. 2. To tell young people how to refuse a cigarette or a drug when offered. 3. To educate young people in the spirit of patriotism. 4. To demonstrate how to apply laws of physics, chemistry and biology for improving one’s physical, psychic and mental abilities; revision.
Visual aids:
a) a stand for measuring galvanic redox currents; b) a stand for measuring physiological redox currents, consisting of a micro-ammeter and two Dr. Redox’s rugs; c) measuring electrodes, or certified Dr. Redox’s bio-stimulators; d) informational leaflets and a newspaper containing the currents circulation scheme and a crossword puzzle. e) gems of the Urals: 10 to 50 items from Dr. Redox’s collection of minerals will be required for each class; f) Dr. Redox’s bio-stimulators with the manual.
PROCEDURE
1. Setting forth the principle of getting to know laws of physics, chemistry and biology in everyday life through a game. 2. An anti-drugs awareness module with training. 3. A quiz containing 49 questions from the crossword puzzle in the newspaper. For each correct answer the participants get a mineral (malachite, crystal, jasper, garnet, lazurite, etc.) with a brief note on it. The choice of the questions depends on the prevailing type of subjects taught at the school: Sciences, Arts, Medicine, Business, Economics, and so on. 4. Demonstrating the currents of galvanic and physiologic nature with the help of the most courageous participants, and giving them gems for their bravery afterwards. 5. Discussing the outcomes of the experiments in the form of a quiz with prizes. 6. Summing up. Naming four winners who have got most gems and presenting them with:
• a “Redox” t-shirt; • a book “Dr. Redox’s ATAS Therapy”; • 5 “Antistress” bio-stimulators; • Dr. Redox’s clips.
Next come revision of the anti-drugs awareness module backed up with marketing facts about good and bad habits promotion techniques. The conclusion is that the winner is the one who knows the laws and applies them correctly.
